Description

Bitan, or Green Lake in Chinese, despite it neither being a lake or green (on many occasions) is a magnificent spot for relaxation.

The 200 meter pedestrian suspension bridge connects both sides of the river and offers fantastic views of the river and surrounding area.

The area has been cleaned up and developed in recent years and is looking spectacular now. The riverside is a perfect spot for strolling, cycling, or just enjoying the views.

There is a lot of good food nearby in the night market-ish street, including Athulas. Alternatively, catch a boat over the river to the Bifengtan restaurant.
