We are a small bistro style restaurant in Da An District, near the intersection of Dong Feng Jie and Da An Road. The chef de cuisine, Hunter DiLeo, comes from an American family of restaurateurs, and is an experienced chef originally trained in the classic French style at L’École Culinaire, St. Louis. Galley Gong focuses on modern European country-style food, with a few traditional dishes thrown in here and there.

我們是一家在大安區靠近大安路和東豐街的小酒館型態餐廳. 主廚Hunter DiLeo, 家承美國聖路易自家的餐廳, 而且師承自傳統法國廚藝學校L’École Culinaire, 是一位有著經驗豐富的主廚. Galley Gong 致力專注於現代歐洲鄉村式的菜餚, 再畫龍點睛的加上一些西方傳統經典菜餚.

We change the menu frequently (usually daily), in accordance with the seasons, and with whatever’s good in the markets from day to day. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order. When you come to dine, and see our open kitchen, you will see we have no microwaves, no holding cupboards, no hot lamps, nor any other device to interfere with the freshness of your meal. The only freezer we have is in the bar, to keep the Orion glasses and the vodka frozen, and to store ice cream if we’ve made it that day. And when we do make ice cream, it is chef-made from scratch in an Italian ice cream machine.

我們會配合季節及每天市場上的食材, 經常性的變化菜單(通常是每一天). 每道佳餚都是當日新鮮準備的現貨, 並且在客人點菜後新鮮現煮. 當您光臨用餐時, 您會看到我們開放式的廚房, 您就會發現我們廚房內沒有任何微波爐, 沒有任何暖櫥, 也沒有任何保溫燈, 沒有任何會影響您的餐點新鮮度的設備. 我們唯一的冷凍設備是在吧檯內, 用來冰凍Orion生啤酒杯和伏特加酒, 或是冰凍當日現做的冰淇淋. 而我們照季節製作的冰淇淋, 都是主廚親自用義大利制造冰淇淋機製作的.

We serve lunch from Tuesday to Friday, and dinner from Tuesday through Sunday. We are planning weekend brunch in the near future, to make full use of the front patio – when the weather improves!

我們由週2到週5的上班日提供商業午餐, 而晚餐是由周2到週日每日晚間供應. 我們會在不久候計畫提供周末早午餐, 來充分使用舒適的小前院 – 在天氣好一點的時候!

The draught beers are Guinness, and Orion, which is a fresh, unpastuerised beer from Okinawa, served in a frozen beer mug. We also have a selection of wines, personally selected by the owners for quality and value. We are especially proud of our house wines from South Africa – we have not tasted better house wine than ours anywhere in Taipei!

我們提供的生啤酒是愛爾蘭進口健力士, 和以冰凍啤酒杯裝的新鮮非熱處理產自沖繩的Orion. 我們也有選擇眾多的葡萄酒, 是由老闆們依品質和價格考量親自選定的. 我們尤其自豪推薦產自南非的特選紅酒 (house wine) – 這是在台北的餐廳之間所嚐過最佳的 house wine!

We also have a hand-built wood and redbrick sit-down bar, a fully open kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and a patio area for those of you who enjoy a breath of fresh air.
