Description

After recently celebrating it’s 20th anniversary Grandma Nitti’s is one of the most popular restaurants for expats to hang out and to get a taste of home. Right in the heart of the Shida area of Taipei the menus consists of western breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, and also a nice selection of Mexican food.

This three story restaurant has ample seating inside and out, with outside seating on each floor. It’s situated on one of the lanes just off from the busy Shida night market, so you can sit and watch people go by as you eat.

The restaurant is owned and run by Rainbow, who is also an active member of Animals Taiwan, and Taiwan SPCA. Needless to say that pets are extremely welcome to this place, and there are always some cute cats and dogs at the front of the establishment that need the occasional tickle under the ear as they relax and watch the world go by.
